Understanding behaviour. Improving lives

At Fairview Positive Behaviour Support, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported. We partner with individuals, families, and support teams to reduce behaviours of concern and restrictive practices, while also providing effective behaviour support to build skills for independence.
Our approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and guided by evidence-based practice, including functional behaviour assessments tailored to individual needs.
We support people across Queensland from Brisbane to Rockhampton, and everything in-between!
We are committed to making support practical and achievable in everyday life — helping people experience calmer days, stronger relationships, and brighter futures.

Meet Fairview PBS’s Director, Maggie, who brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and lived experience to behaviour support. As a step-parent to a child with ASD and ADHD, she also holds a degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Health Science, and a background in equine therapy. With over seven years of experience providing therapeutic support, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse needs.
Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Canada and now raising a family in Central Queensland, Maggie understands both the strengths of close-knit communities and the challenges families can face accessing support—whether in regional areas or growing urban centres. This has instilled a deep appreciation for resilience, connection, and practical, down-to-earth care.
Her approach combines evidence-based practice with a warm, practical perspective. She is passionate about making behaviour support accessible and meaningful for all families, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support across both regional and metropolitan communities.

We operate across Central and South East Queensland, providing NDIS-aligned behaviour support services from Brisbane to Rockhampton and everywhere in between. Our team works closely with participants, families, and carers to ensure support is delivered with dignity, choice, and control.
